Owner Rian Mondriaan, (pronounced Reon – like neon), grew up in South Africa and started work on his first project boat at the age of six as his Dad’s assistant. Since that day he has never stopped tinkering with anything motorized on or off the water. His dad also put him on his first sail boat, a friend’s Vickers 41, for a club race during a winter storm. That was all he needed to realize that the idea of working on boats after he finished school.

Mondriaan Marine LLC is a National Marine Manufacturers Association member and participant in their Boat Builders Certification Program which ensures use of American Boat& Yacht Council standards in build practices. We are also an ABYC member and participate in many of their certification programs to ensure we build the best possible boats. These groups are dedicated to elevating US boat manufacturing in both safety and performance in the absence of strong federal regulation of the industry and work hand in hand with Washington and the U.S. Coast Guard to achieve those goals. Mondriaan Marine is a registered manufacturer with the U.S.C.G. and will deliver a completed Fusion or other custom build with certificate of origin and hull ID number as per regulations.
